I am happy to support Steve Minchuk for Lake County Council. I have recently moved to this area, and I was lucky enough to meet Steve early on. He has not only made me feel like apart of the community, but he has also introduced me to other community members/leaders and helped me build meaningful connections with them. His commitment to helping others is genuine.
As a coach for Merrillville high school I have also seen his selflessness in helping our program out. From showing up and supporting on Friday nights, to being a guy we can count on to help with fundraising events, Steve has always answered the call to help out our program. Steve understands that high school athletics is about more than sports; it’s about mentorship, opportunity, and community pride. Steve shows up, follows through, and makes things happen.
